Legacy Flow Control is the proud distributor for Cyclonic choke valves in the Permian Basin. Cyclonic is based in Oklahoma and are American made. They are specifically designed for many applications including gas lift/plunger lift, production, Water/CO2 flood, H-pump back pressure on SWD's, and compressor suction/by-pass/discharge. Sizes range from 1" through 6" and up to 10,000 PSI.
Cyclonic chokes are made of solid bar stock steel or stainless steel so porosity leaks from castings is not a problem. The inline flow path minimizes pressure drop, erosion, and cavitation. They're easy to automate unlike traditional needle and seat, inline, or top entry designs. Their internal 2:1 or 3:1 gear drive provides finer control adjustment as well as much lower torque requiring a smaller actuator and cost savings.

2 years agoLooks great, Chad - thanks for posting. I’ll be sure to share this with any customers I come across needing choke valves. If you have any photos of these installed in the field, it would be cool to see those as well!
