We’re not only “West Texas” Boring. While our name might suggest that we primarily work in the Permian Basin, that isn’t true anymore.
Multiple West Texas Boring crews spent over 18 months in Kentucky installing fiber across the state. Over 100 miles of
conduit were pulled for this HDD Project using several Vermeer 100x140 rigs as well as a Ditch Witch AT40 & AT30.
We work in any and every industry that requires directional drilling. This includes oil and gas, telecommunications, as well as any municipal work. Give us a call and let us help you with your next project!
Advantages of Directional Boring
The main advantages of directional boring are:
- Directional boring reduces soil disturbances.
- HDD is a form of underground construction that allows the site to stay clean and free from patchy areas.
- The technique reduces the contamination of groundwater. This ensures higher safety compared to traditional boring methods.
- Directional drilling is an eco-friendly method as it protects the ecosystem and the adjacent areas.
- Directional boring is less influenced by the weather conditions of the site.
