Thomas, do you typically see customers using a VFD on the h-pump along with a downstream pressure control valve or is it one or the other?

Yes sir. The combination of the two gives the customer full control to operate the pump at the exact rate and pressure they need but still keeping it within the safe operating ranges of the pump curve.

That makes sense. I heard it was okay to use one or the other but it seems like you would want to have both so you can fine-tune the downstream pressure.

The VFD and Control Valve along with our state of the art KODIAK PLC offer very precise control while also protecting the system form being operated out of range.
