Traditionally fin fans have attempted to be cleaned during shutdown periods using poor techniques with marginal success. As the period between shutdowns has increased to 5 years or more, it has become desirable to consider doing an on-line cleaning of fin tube exchangers to allow plants to run at the highest level of effectiveness.
FINFOAM’s on-line cleaning process has proven to be effective in improving process temperature drop by 20 to 50 degrees F in most cases.
