PSR performed aerial data services (via drone) for an oilfield services company. The aerial data will be used to plan for a large project to expand an oil production field and storage facility. Images of storage tanks were obtained to look for mechanical integrity issues, eliminating the need for a man lift and personnel being exposed to 10 degree fahrenheit temperatures and 35 mph gusts of freezing cold wind. Images of powerline right of way (ROW) were obtained to look at potential vegetation clearing needs. Images of pumpjacks were obtained for project planning and documentation.
