Position: Contract Drone Pilot
Location: West Texas
Division: SkySense Drone Services, a service division of Premier Safety Resources (PSR), LLC in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Overview
Premier Safety Resources (PSR), through its SkySense Drone Services Division, is actively seeking skilled drone pilots for contract positions within West Texas. This role is geared towards professionals in the drone operation field with a focus on energy-related aerial tasks, ideally with a background in the energy sector in some form. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in aerial imaging, including 3D modeling, mapping, inspections, and video production, tailored towards energy infrastructure and industrial construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct aerial surveys, inspections, and mapping of energy infrastructure using drones.
- Create detailed 3D models and maps for analysis and planning.
- Perform video capture for inspection and monitoring purposes.
- Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with FAA regulations and PSR safety protocols.
- Maintain and manage personal drone equipment and safety gear.
- Ability to navigate and use Flight Insight for flight safety, planning, scheduling, and coordinating.
Requirements
- Must possess a current FAA Part 107 license.
- Own a professional-grade drone capable of 3D modeling, mapping, inspections, and video capture.
- Own personal safety gear including Flame Resistant Clothing (FRCs), hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
- Demonstrated experience with aerial 3D modeling, mapping, inspections, and video production.
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect sensitive project information.
- Ability to travel within West Texas and surrounding areas, as required by contract assignments.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards.
